Happy Gluten Free Thanksgiving!
I just wanted to post today and wish all my American visitors a very happy Thanksgiving!
We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK. I know there are historical reasons why you started celebrating it in the States but whether these are still remembered or not I think it is a fantastic thing to have a whole day dedicated to… well, being thankful I guess! We need to have a Thanksgiving day here in the UK too.
It did make me think what I am thankful for. My family comes high up the list, and especially Jamie’s return to health and energy this year on his gluten free diet. I’m thankful for my home, thankful that I do a job I enjoy and that despite the current economic crisis all around the world I still have a job! Most of all I’m thankful that God loves me and loves my family and anything that does happen is covered by His grace - whether I understand it or not.
I can’t help much on gluten free thanksgiving recipes, because I don’t know any! But here are some links to some which you may find helpful.
