A Gluten Free Christmas: Gluten Free Christmas Spice Biscuits Recipe

Gluten Free Christmas Spice Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225g gluten free self raising flour (or brown rice flour) +some for rolling
  • 11/2 tsp mixed spice
  • 150g margarine
  • 100g castor sugar
  • beaten egg

Method

Rub together butter and flour with the fingertips

Add the spice and sugar

Mix to a very stiff dough with the beaten egg

Knead until smooth

Roll out onto a surface dusted with gluten free self raising flour or rice flour

Cut into Christmassy shapes

Place on greased baking sheets and bake for 12-15mins at 180′C/ Gas 5
